Jilly Be Brave, Blazin' Cool and Make Me Wonder collided at the 150m mark and multiple times from the 100m mark to the winning post. Leaping Lydia visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Leaping Lydia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 3, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr Daniel Turnley, the trainer of Leaping Lydia regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Leaping Lydia was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Turnley pleaded guilty to the charge, Leaping Lydia was found guilty and suspended for 28 days Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Hadley - Late scratching at 7:34am when Mr David Condon reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Ancho Poblano and Chill Out Isla were slow to begin.

Shared Colour and Invictus Seeker collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Shared Colour crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark. Invictus Seeker checked off Ancho Poblano at the 50m mark.

Mr. Bar Wicked was quick to begin.

Mr. Bar Wicked crossed to the outside at the 300m mark checking Jordanville Jet. Bull's Roar and Duncan collided at the 250m mark. Bull's Roar and Mr. Bar Wicked collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the 50m mark checking Bull's Roar.

Stewards spoke to Mr Grant Hammerstein, the trainer of Joking Bear as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. The comments of Mr Hammerstein were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.
