Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Migration.
Prime Time was slow to begin. Snap Decision and Migration collided soon after the start. Migration, Dr. Luna and Pesky Miss collided on the first turn. Snap Decision turned its head out and visibly eased on the first turn. Snap DecisionTurned his head out on the first turn and collided with Pesky Miss and Armstrong Bobby severely checking all three greyhounds. Pesky Miss and Armstrong Bobby collided several times from approaching the home turn to the home turn and several times from entering the home straight to the winning post.
Snap Decision underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Romagnino, the trainer of Snap Decision regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Snap Decision was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Romagnino pleaded guilty to the charge, Snap Decision was found guilty and suspended for 3 months all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
