Sorell was slow to begin.  Cool Hand, Elswyk Sonia, Omega Sierra and Sorell collided soon after the start.  Sorell galloped on Omega Sierra on the first turn severely checking Sorell.  Omega Sierra was checked off Elswyk Sonia on the first turn severely checking Elswyk Sonia.  Dr. Wade was checked off Up The Dale on The home turn.  Dr. Lexie was checked off Short Fine Leg on the home turn causing Short Fine Leg to stumble.  Omega Sierra was checked off Dr. Lexie in the home straight. Elswyk Sonia raced wide in the home straight.

Elswyk Storm and Bernice were quick to begin.  Audacious Leila crossed in in the back straight checking Dr. Perry.  Dr. Perry was checked off Dr. Bronte approaching the first turn.  Dr. Perry galloped on Dr. Bronte on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Somerton Rose was checked off Bernice entering the home straight.  Masters On Metro and Somerton Rose collided several times in the home straight.  Elswyk Storm raced wide in the home straight.

Mr. Buck Lee was quick to begin.  Saint Phoenix galloped on Shango Run approaching the first turn and collided with Audacious Pearl severely checking Shango Run and Audacious Pearl.  Shango Run and Audacious Pearl collided on the first turn.

Alarm Response was quick to begin.  Crackerjack Ads and Kutcher’s Ruslie collided soon after the start.  Kutcher’s Ruslie crossed out on the first turn and collided with Crackerjack Ads severely checking Crackerjack Ads.  Kutcher’s Ruslie and Crackerjack Suni collided on the second turn.  William Rose raced ungenerously approaching the fiishing line. 

William Rose underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle and spike wound on the left hind foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs S. Chignell regarding the racing manners of William Rose approaching the finishing line. After hearing evidence from Mrs Chignell, a warning was issued regarding the greyhounds racing manners..

Fray’s Courage and Go Nera were quick to begin.  Magical Max and Mr. Buddy Lee collided soon after the start.  Fray’s Courage, Go Nera and Magic Voyage collided on the first turn checking Fray’s Courage and Go Nera.  Go Nera was checked off Mr. Buddy Lee in the back straight.  Fray’s Courage and Big Coin Buddy collided on the home turn.

Made Me Blind was quick to begin.  Thirty Red was slow to begin.  Taylor’s Jewel was checked off Aston Rosa soon after the start.  Milly’s Last was checked off Mac Rooster approaching the first turn. Milly’s Last was checked off Aston Rosa approaching the first turn. Milly’s Last, Taylor’s Jewel and Asquith Bale collided on the first turn.  Milly’s Last was checked off Taylor’s Jewel on the home turn. Mac Rooster was checked off Made Me Blind entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from Manila Shine upon arrival at the course.

A pre-race sample was taken from Deedee’s Charm.

Aston Rum was quick to begin.  Manila Shine, Master Febey and Deedee’s Charm collided soon after the start.  Manila Shine contacted the running rail approaching the first turn causing Manila Shine and Deedee’s Charm to collided checking Deedee’s Charm and severely checking Manila Shine.  Master Febey and Deedee’s Charm collided approaching the home turn.  David Coin was checked off Aston Rum on the home turn. Miss Somerton tired approaching the winning post.

Deedee’s Charm underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a dislocated toe and a split webbing on the right hind foot. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Somerton underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Whelan, representative for Miss Somerton and after listening to his explanation Stewards took no further action.

Sandy Gem and Dr. Knuckles collided approaching the first turn.  Sandy Gem, Dr. Knuckles and Majestic Mojo collided on the first turn checking Sandy Gem and Majestic Mojo.  Dr. Knuckles galloped on Inuka on the first turn.  Sandy Gem galloped on Dr. Knuckles on the first turn.  Stack and Jet Lee Rose collided on the home turn.  Stack and Carrie collided on the home turn.

Bit Twisted was quick to begin.  Midget Rocks and Crackerjack Fish collided approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Carr and Crackerjack Fish collided on the first turn severely checking Crackerjack Fish.  Crackerjack Carr was checked off Molly’s Lass on the home turn.

Crackerjack Fish underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left back muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Yazid Bale with Mr. L. Harris and noted their comments.

Kody Talks and Luxury Art were quick to begin.  Yazid Bale and Take A Sunflower collided soon after the start.  Kody Talks and Luxury Art collided on the first turn.  Camulos was checked off Kody Talks approaching the home turn.  Take A Sunflower and Luxury Art collided on the home turn checking Camulos.  Camulos and Yazid Bale collided on the home turn.  Luxury Art raced wide in the home straight.  Kody Talks and Take A Sunflower collided several times from entering the home straight to the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Migration.

Prime Time was slow to begin.  Snap Decision and Migration collided soon after the start.  Migration, Dr. Luna and Pesky Miss collided on the first turn.  Snap Decision turned its head out and visibly eased on the first turn.  Snap DecisionTurned his head out on the first turn and collided with Pesky Miss and Armstrong Bobby severely checking all three greyhounds.  Pesky Miss and Armstrong Bobby collided several times from approaching the home turn to the home turn and several times from entering the home straight to the winning post.

Snap Decision underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Romagnino, the trainer of Snap Decision regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Snap Decision was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Romagnino pleaded guilty to the charge, Snap Decision was found guilty and suspended for 3 months all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
