Sweet Sorrow underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the Trainers request and was found to have an abrasion above the right eye. No stand down period was imposed.

Portelli Punk underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right deltoid muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Raymond Floyd, the trainer of Portelli Punk regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Portelli Punk was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Floyd pleaded guilty to the charge, Portelli Punk was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Alfie Mikado underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right metacarpal. No stand down period was imposed.

Shanghai Avatar and About Bob collided soon after the start. Aston Frigate crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Shanghai Avatar and Tarra Rocket. Sway and Tarra Rocket collided at the 250m mark. Tarra Rocket checked off Aston Frigate at the 225m mark. Aston Frigate galloped on Sway approaching the winning post causing Aston Frigate to fall.

Aston Frigate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing on the right fore paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
