Steward's Report

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Kennel Attendent Ms. P. Toner did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way affected the outcome of this event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hacker.

Two Phones was quick to begin.  Shrek’s Storm and Hacker were slow to begin.  Hacker and Okay Bow collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Santiago was checked off Earn The Loot approaching the first turn checking Dr. Santigo, Two Phones, Okay Bow, Pepperberry and Shrek’s Storm.  Two Phones and Hacker collided on the first turn. Okay Bow visibly eased on the first turn and collided with Two Phones.  Shrek’s Storm and Dr. Santiago collided on the first turn checking Shrek’s Storm. Dr. Santiago and Pepperberry.  Okay Bow and Two Phones collided approaching the home turn.  Okay Bow and Two Phones collided on the home turn causing Two Phones to collide with Pepperberry checking Two Phones, Okay Bow And Pepperberry.

Okay Bow underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported

Stewards spoke to Mr. E. Lieshout the trainer of Okay Bow regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Okay Bow was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Lieshout pleaded guilty to the charge, Okay Bow was found guilty and suspended for 3 months all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
