Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Baz The Rocket upon arrival at the course.
A pre-race sample was taken from Speed Demon.
Parumba Rebel and Captain Cruiser collided approaching the first turn. Wears Woodleigh and David Coin collided approaching the first turn. Parumba Rebel, Captain Cruiser and Throw Caution collided on the first turn. Wears Woodleigh and Baz The Rocket collided on the first turn. Wears Woodleigh, Burning Mountain and Speed Demon collided approaching the home turn checking Burning Mountain and Speed Demon and severely checking Wears Woodleigh which stumbled and lost ground.
Wears Woodleigh underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right back muscle. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
