The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Sunshine Spolly - Late scratching at 15:14 when Mr. Steven Spoljaric reported the greyhound to have an illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Steven Spoljaric regarding the late scratching of Sunshine Spolly.  Stewards noted his comments.

Mr. Shaun Coulson was issued with a warning under (GAR 86(o)) for negligence after the greyhound, Ellias Bale was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.

Club official, Mr. Joel Anderson was reminded of their responsibilities after the greyhound, Ellias Bale was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  This matter was referred to his Manager for further consideration and remediation.

He Shall Power was slow to begin.  Shamrock Boy and Flossy Jo collided approaching the first turn.  Flossy Jo and Ellias Bale collided on the first turn.  He Shall Power galloped on Ellias Bale on the first turn.  Flossy Jo checked off Verne Bale on the third turn.  Ellias Bale crossed out approaching the home turn and checked off He Shall Power.
