Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Sparky Girl.
Whistling Bullet was quick to begin. Aston Rosa was slow to begin. Sparky Girl, Airly Pablo, Crackerjack Fish, Nicko Express, William Rose and She Wiggles collided on the first turn severely checking Airly Pablo and Nicko Express, Airly Pablo fell as a result checking Crackerjack Fish and William Rose. Aston Rosa, Crackerjack Fish and William Rose collided on the home turn. Whistling Bullet and Sparky Girl collided several times in the home straight.
Airly Pablo underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. D. Baker and issued him with a warning regarding his failure to engage a catcher for Sparky Girl pursuant to GAR 48.
