Steward's Report
Laile Brobio – Late scratching at 2.59pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration to the left fore dew claw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Lady Gotham - After taking evidence from Trainer Mr. T. Boehmke and viewing the replay of the satisfactory trial at Ballarat on Monday 23 November, Stewards approved the greyhound to race in blinkers. The greyhound trialled in blinkers on that day however due to an administrative error this was not recorded in Fasttrack or the Stewards report.
A pre-race sample was taken from Lady Gotham.
Curnow Keats was quick to begin. Kurri Kurri and Watched collided on the first turn checking Watched. Lady Gotham and Darklight collided approaching the home turn checking Darklight. Kurri Kurri checked off Darklight in the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Curnow Keats - the winner of the event.
