Zipping Trent and Mahogany Jet were slow to begin.
Shamrock Boy, All Cylinders, Burning Eddy and Rezzie's Shout collided approaching the first turn; checking Shamrock Boy, All Cylinders and Burning Eddy. Zipping Trent and Rezzie's Shout collided on the first turn. All Cylinders checked off Shamrock Boy on the first turn. Burning Eddy galloped on the heels of Shamrock Boy on the first turn. Zipping Trent and Rezzie's Shout collided in the home straight.
All Cylinders underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg stopper tendon injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
