The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday, 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5 m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Amber Bridget was slow to begin.

Swamp Donkey and Iceni Jinx collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Fab Nine and Not Happening collided on the first turn.  Swamp Donkey, Iceni Jinx, So Predictable and Wee Fishin' collided on the first turn; checking Iceni Jinx, which lost ground.  Marli Ann and Not Happening collided in the home straight.

Memory Lass and Ultimate Avenger were quick to begin.  Working Class was slow to begin.

Inga Ollie, Charley Davidson and Kraken Tex collided soon after the start.  Max's Idol, Barellen Pearl and Jabba Bolt collided approaching the first turn.  Max's Idol and Barellen Pearl collided on the first turn; severely checking Max's Idol which collided with Jabba Bolt  Max's Idol lost ground.as a result. Max's Idol underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg pencil/whip injury.  A three day stand down period was imposed.

Winlock Newbolt was slow to begin.

All Cylinders underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg stopper tendon injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Rev Up Axel and Sister Annie were slow to begin.

Pyrenees Pegasus and Iceni Hunter collided soon after the start, checking Iceni Hunter.  Rev Up Axel and Pyrenees Pegagus collided approaching the home turn.  Pyrenees Pegasus and Inga Zach collided entering the home straight.  Moraine Chief visably eased and turned its head inwards approaching the winning post.

Moraine Chief underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr S Elsum regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Moraine Chief was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Elsum pleaded guilty to the charge, Moraine Chief was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Current was quick to begin.  Iceni Riddler was slow to begin.

Gotham Duchess, Fly To Victory and Fab Motto collided soon after the start.  Fab Motto and Braemar Prince collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Current and Braemar Prince collided on the first turn.  Fab Motto checked off Gotham Duchess approaching the home turn.  Gotham Duchess checked off Fly To Victory entering the home straight.  Gotham Duchess and Fly To Victory collided in the home straight.

Ironclad was slow to begin.

Horizon Princess, Keybow Sally and Cyberpunk Tokyo collided soon after the start.  Horizon Princess and Keybow Sally collided approaching the first turn, checking Keybow Sally.  Aston Gripen, Cyberpunk Tokyo and Dr. Mick collided approaching the first turn, causing Aston Gripen to race wide on the first turn and collide with Dr. Mick and Ironclad; resulting in all three greyhounds being severely checked; causing Aston Gripen to stumble and Ironclad to fall.  Mahogany Storm, Cyberpunk Tokyo and Horizon Princess collided approaching the home turn; checking Mahogany Storm and Keybow Sally.  Horizon Princess and Cyberpunk Tokyo collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Aston Gripen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to both hindleg hocks, laceration and spike wound to the right metacarpal, and a left foreleg dew claw injuries.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Keybow Sally underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Dr. Mick underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Ironclad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right hindleg and elbow, lacerations to both hindleg hocks, and a spike wound to the right toe.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
