Steward's Report
The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday, 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5 m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Amber Bridget was slow to begin.
Paisley Bale, Butterfly Indee and Bindi Boo collided soon after the start; severely checking Butterfly Indee, which fell as a result. Paisley Bale and Butterfly Indee collided approaching the first turn. Modern Shadow, Amber Bridget, Paisley Bale and Bindi Boo collided on the first turn; checking Paisley Bale and Bindi Boo. Amber Bridge checked off Moraine Izzy approaching the home turn. Modern Shadow checked off Moraine Izzy approaching the home turn and collided with Amber Bridget.
Butterfly Indee underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
