Steward's Report
Pre-race samples were taken from Super Rage and Awesome Asset.
Young Jebrynah, Black Tess and Awesome Asset collided soon after the start. Ringcraft, Awesome Asset and Super Rage collided approaching the first turn checking Awesome Asset which fell as a result, in turn checking Elegant Malt which lost ground.
It was noted that the muzzle of Awsome Asset became dislodged during the running of the event.
Awesome Asset underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right deltoid muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
