Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Verne Bale.
Shanlyn Spot, Kasey Anne and Lockwood Lad were slow to begin. Tech Stock, Nicko Express and Whodat Dare collided approaching the first turn checking Nicko Express. Tech Stock, Nicko Express and Verne Bale collided on the first turn checking Verne Bale severely checking Nicko Express which fell. Kasey Anne checked off Lockwood Lad entering the home straight. Tech Stock and Whodat Dare collided several times in the home straight.
Nicko Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
