Steward's Report
Crazy Apple was a late scratching at 6.29p.m. on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Connemara Fire, Eumeralla Mist and Elite Tulip were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn checking Eumeralla Mist. Dark Harmony checked off Keith's Fiasco approaching the first turn. Starbright Girl checked off Raid The Planets on the first turn severely checking Starbright Girl which faltered and collided with Connemara Fire as a result. Dark Harmony and Eumeralla Mist collided approaching the home turn. Eumeralla Mist faltered on the home turn and pulled up in the home straight. Connemara Fire and Eumeralla Mist collided in the home straight. Keith's Fiasco checked off Raid The Planets in the home straight.
Starbright Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left thigh, left tricep and left front paw and a spike wound to the right hind leg. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Eumeralla Mist was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
