A pre race sample was taken from Poetic Premier.
Elite Tulip was slow to begin. Senorita Daphne, Poetic Premier and Fos Newman collided soon after the start checking Fos Newman. Senorita Daphne and Elite Tulip collided on the home turn and again several times in the home straight. Poetic Premier raced wide on the home turn. Fox Newman raced wide in the home straight.
Fos Newman was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr.Rene.Matthyssen, the representative of Fos Newman regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
