Cosmic Buddy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a possible neurological problem and generalised bruising, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Minnie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken right radius, and was humanely euthanised.

Miss Grithinbush was quick to begin. Super Dot stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 Lengths). Definition, Molly Monroe and Khal Drogo were slow to begin. Honeydukes and Molly Monroe collided approaching the home turn checking Honeydukes. Definition and Cudgee Creek collided on the home turn checking Cudgee Creek which raced wide.

Authentic Ace was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Zulu Spear and Dadsman were quick to begin. El Nielo and Cosmic Tequila were slow to begin. Southwood Paddy and Hudson Monza collided approaching the first turn. El Nielo checked off Cosmic Tequila on the first turn. Zulu Spear checked off Dadsman on the first turn. Cosmic Tequila checked off Southwood Paddy on the first turn checking Hudson Monza. Southwood Paddy and Cosmic Tequila collided approaching the home turn. Dadsman raced wide on the home turn and collided with Zulu Spear. Cosmic Tequila raced wide entering the home straight. Zulu Spear and Dadsman collided several times in the home straight.

Pen Shaw was a late scratching at 18:25 due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr.Peter Gavin was fined the sum of $100.

Black Foo was slow to begin. Southwood Lexie crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Watta Good Dee. Miss Safari raced wide on the home turn.
