Cosmic Gene and Senni John were quick to begin. Kian's Theory was slow to begin.
Conga, Kian's Theory and Senni John collided approaching the first turn checking Senni John and severely checking Conga and Kian's Theory. Senni John faltered approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground. Teecee Raider and Leisure Larry raced wide on the home turn. Conga and Leisure Larry raced wide in the home straight.
Kian's Theory was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Senni John was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
