Steward's Report
Fredwyn was slow to begin. Gitcha Rich and Ima Hot Fox collided soon after the start, Gitcha Rich stumbled as a result. Fredwyn and Tommy Reg collided soon after the start. Uno Blue and My Name's Debbie collided approaching the first turn checking Uno Blue. Gitcha Rich galloped on the heels of Uno Blue on the first turn. Fredwyn and Tommy Reg collided approaching the home turn. Uno Blue eased entering the home straight. Gitcha Rich checked off Fredwyn in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr P Bull, the handler of the greyhound Uno Blue. Uno Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the hock, no stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Uno Blue with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
