Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Frisky Den was slow to begin.  Frisky Den was checked off Chase Man soon after the start.  Sarah Beauty, Chase Man and Hurricane Sue collided soon after the start.  Maybe Sienna, Chase Man and Odd Gem collided approaching the first turn.  Maybe Sienna and Frisky Den collided on the first turn checking Frisky Den.  Odd Gem turned its head and marred Sarah Beauty in the home straight checking Sarah Beauty.

Odd Gem underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds on the right hind foot.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Musselwhite the trainer of Odd Gem regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Odd Gem was charged with marring.  Mr. Musselwhite pleaded not guilty to the charge, Odd Gem was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. R. Coleman was issued with a warning regarding his use of a mobile phone whilst returning to the kennelling area following the running of the event in accordance with GAR 44.

Boes Bounty, Max Black, Where's The Rum and Aaron's Me Boy were slow to begin.  Max Black and Tatum collided approaching the first turn.  Max Black and Tatum collided and raced wide on the first turn.  Max Black and Tatum collided on the home turn.

Mac's Secret was quick to begin.  Preconceived was slow to begin.  Matilda Tilly was checked off All To Lucky on the first turn causing All To Lucky to collide with Mac's Secret checking All To Lucky, Matilda Tilly, Agent Piper and Mac's Secret.  Inga Mikey and Preconceived collided approaching the home turn.  Matilda Tilly and All To Lucky collided in the home straight. Preconceived raced wide in the home straight.

Chase's Entity - Late scratching at 13.56pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterniarian (GAR37) due to a right groin injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

La Quinta Rocks and Aquileia were slow to begin.  Baz The Rocket crossed in soon after the start and collided with Lady Elegance and Zipping Trent.  Libby's Dream faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground.  Midnight Breeze, Baz The Rocket and Hurricane Red collided on the first turn severely checking Hurricane Red and Lady Elegance.  La Quinta Rocks and Lady Elegance collided approaching the home turn.  

Libby's Dream underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Fun Time Mikado and Ally Oop Keats were quick to begin.  Maximum Trina and Rose Mikado collided soon after the start.  Maximum Trina galloped on Pandora's Proof soon after the start. Pandora's Proof and Rose Mikado collided on the first turn.  Weeona Yoshi and Mad Eye Madam collided approaching the home turn.  Lady Kin Lee and Weeona Yoshi collided on the home turn. Gunner's Hawk was slow to begin.  Hayley's Hero, Italia Bella and Max Beau collided soon after the start.  Hayley's Hero and Here To Help collided on the first turn.

Dyna Yardo  – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vetting as the greyhound was found to be injured (stand-down of 60 days) at Warragul on 28 May 2020. Dyna Yardo was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be injured, subsequently the greyhound was not cleared to race.  A sample was taken in accordance with GAR 79 (1), having presented for the purpose of revoking a stand down period (re-vet).
