Steward's Report
Knuckle Buster was slow to begin. Jumping Breen visibly eased approaching the first turn. Knuckle Buster, Select Charlie and Praise Me collided approaching the first turn severely checking Select Charlie and Praise Me. Knuckle Buster and Yanderra Rip collided on the first turn.
Jumping Breen underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right chest muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. S. Healey regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Jumping Breen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Mr. Healey pleaded not guilty to the charge, Jumping Breen was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Praise Me underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on a left hind toe. No stand down period was imposed
