Aston Milla – Late scratching at 6:39am when Laurie Mallia reported the greyhound to have an injured wrist (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tiny Shiny.
Tiny Shiny was slow to begin.
Kurri Kurri and Master Winslow collided soon after the start. Hardaway George and Silver Sky collided soon after the start. Tiny Shiny, Kurri Kurri and Master Winslow collided at the 300m mark. Tiny Shiny shifted out at the 200m mark checking Kurri Kurri. Hardaway George checked off Master Winslow at the 100m mark and again approaching the winning post.
