Steward's Report

Fraser Hook and Lee Ali were slow to begin.

Lee Ali and Disco Riot collided soon after the start. Lee Ali checked off Weblec Storm approaching the first turn. Dr. Madison and Mepunga Mila collided on the first turn. Lee Ali and Mepunga Mila collided in the back straight. Disco Riot and Mepunga Mila collided on the home turn. Lee Ali and Handsome Jack collided several times entering the home straight and in the home straight; severely checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to stumble.

Handsome Jack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg thigh muscle injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Dr. Madison - the winner of the event.
