A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Kez.
Skibo Rebel stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. Nova's Girl was slow to begin. Mr. Blurton and Keybow Sally collided on the first turn checking Mr. Blurton, Lancashire and Nova's Girl. Skibo Rebel checked off Zipping Kez on the first turn. Zipping Kez raced wide approaching the home turn. Lancashire raced wide approaching the home turn and again in the home straight. Skibo Rebel and Crackerjack Joey collided on the home turn.
Mr. Blurton was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
