A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Helena.
Aston Helena was slow to begin. Miss Zeus faltered on the first turn and pulled up as a result. Abby's Illusion raced wide on the home turn.
Miss Zeus was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 6. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abdominal muscle injury, 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the event, stewards inspected the track in the vicinity of the first turn and deemed the surface suitable for racing.
