Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

King Crow was quick to begin.  Star Shooter and Neat Radar were slow to begin and collided on the first turn checking Neat Radar.  Aston Current and King Crow collided in the home straight.

Rev Up Axel and Sugar Shane were slow to begin.  Crackerjack Phil crossed to the rail on the first turn.  Mystery Road raced wide approaching the home turn checking Scandalise and Sugar Shane.  Mystery Road galloped on Sugar Shane on the home turn checking Sugar Shane.  Mystery Road raced wide on the home turn.  Sirius Faith checked off Mystery Road approaching the winning post.

Mystery Road was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a superficial spike wound to the left fore, no stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Helena.

Aston Helena was slow to begin.  Miss Zeus faltered on the first turn and pulled up as a result.  Abby's Illusion raced wide on the home turn.

Miss Zeus was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 6.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abdominal muscle injury, 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the event, stewards inspected the track in the vicinity of the first turn and deemed the surface suitable for racing.

Aston Samurai was slow to begin.  Our Ando and Dundee Dancer collided soon after the start.  Kratos Bale, Dundee Dancer and Aston Samurai collided on the first turn checking Dundee Dancer.  Wilmont Street checked off Our Ando on the first turn.  Kratos Bale and Aston Samurai collided on the home turn checking Kratos Bale.  Wilmont Street and Rower's Rule collided entering the home straight checking Wilmont Street.  Irina Bale and Our Ando collided in the home straight.  Irina Bale, Our Ando and Aston Samurai collided approaching the winning post checking Our Ando and Aston Samurai.

Skibo Rebel stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.  Nova's Girl was slow to begin.  Mr. Blurton and Keybow Sally collided on the first turn checking Mr. Blurton, Lancashire and Nova's Girl.  Skibo Rebel checked off Zipping Kez on the first turn.  Zipping Kez raced wide approaching the home turn.  Lancashire raced wide approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.  Skibo Rebel and Crackerjack Joey collided on the home turn.

Mr. Blurton was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Numinous and Aston Lopez collided soon after the start checking Aston Lopez.  Brazen Crow checked off Gotcha Laz approaching the first turn.  Rollo Ragna, Brazen Crow and Numinous collided on the first turn.  Rollo Ragnar and Brazen Crow collided on the first turn checking Brazen Crow.  Rollo Ragnar checked off Max's Idol on the first turn checking Numinous.  Max's Idol galloped on Gotcha Laz approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Aston Lopez checked off Abby's Star in the home straight.  Aston Lopez and Major Minter collided in the home straight.

Tiger's Twenty and Plumber collided soon after the start checking Tiger's Twenty.  Plumber, Rev Up Rob and Fergusta  Bale collided on the first turn checking Zevatron and Sonny Daze.  Dundee Jester checked off Rev Up Rob approaching the home turn.  Fergusta Bale and Plumber collided on the home turn checking Plumber.

Colden Brookie, Chart Topper, Capture Bart and Royalty Runa collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds.  Saint Jett raced wide on the first turn.  Colden Brookie raced wide on the first turn.  Royalty Runa galloped on Colden Brookie approaching the home turn.

Colden Brookie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Zipping Imogen and Zipping Radar were slow to begin.  Nanda Sizzle galloped on Dynamite Miss on the first turn causing Dynamite Miss to become unbalanced and collided with Zipping Radar.  Invictus Caleb checked off Jabba Bolt on the home turn.  Zipping Imogen checked off Zipping Radar entering the home straight.  Zipping Imogen and Zipping Radar collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Tigers Nineteen.

Calico Bull was slow to begin.  Tigers Nineteen checked off Quade Bale approaching the first turn checking Calico Bull.  Out Of Aces checked off Jimmy Cheesecake on the first turn, severely checking Parzival which fell as a result.

Parzival was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
