A pre-race sample was taken from Mystery Road.
Rev Up Axel and Sugar Shane were slow to begin. Crackerjack Phil crossed to the rail on the first turn. Mystery Road raced wide approaching the home turn checking Scandalise and Sugar Shane. Mystery Road galloped on Sugar Shane on the home turn checking Sugar Shane. Mystery Road raced wide on the home turn. Sirius Faith checked off Mystery Road approaching the winning post.
Mystery Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a superficial spike wound to the left fore, no stand down period was imposed.
