Steward's Report
The start of this race was delayed by one minute owing to the greyhounds arriving late to the start. Stewards spoke the Parade Steward and advised him to be more diligent in having the greyhounds at the boxes by the required time.
Akuma Fireball and Gettysburg were slow to begin.
Nitro Roxy, Eaglehawk Miss and Army Bale collided soon after the start, checking Eaglehawk Miss. Battered Sav checked off Nitro Roxy approaching the first turn. Akuma Fireball checked off Gettysburg on the first turn. Aston Logic and Army Bale collided in the home straight.
Eaglehawk Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg toe injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Nitro Roxy - the winner of the event.
