Guinness Banshee was quick to begin.
Little Tubbsy and Thurles Princess collided soon after the start. Brindle Delight and Zoro Bale collided soon after the start. Unique Quality and Thurles Princess collided on the home turn.
Black Miss visably eased approaching the winning post.
Black Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury and a right hip injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr J. Buckley, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Black Miss was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr J. Buckley pleaded not guilty to the charge, Black Miss was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
