Kamari and Why Not Kez were quick to begin.
Zipping Oliver faltered soon after the start and tailed off as a result. Watched and Merriview Mach collided approaching the first turn. Completed and Out Of Aces collided on the first turn. Watched and Fab Creates collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.
Zipping Oliver underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg tarsal fracture / dislocation to the hock A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards walked the track following the race and deemed it suitable for racing.
