Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Stewards spoke to Ms J. Thorpe and issued a warning regarding the boxing of Reserved. 

Out Of Aces – New declared weight of 31.1 kg's, last raced at 32.6 kg's.

Kamari and Why Not Kez were quick to begin. 

Zipping Oliver faltered soon after the start and tailed off as a result. Watched and Merriview Mach collided approaching the first turn.  Completed and Out Of Aces collided on the first turn.  Watched and Fab Creates collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.  

Zipping Oliver underwent a post-race veterinary examination  and was found to have a right hindleg tarsal fracture / dislocation to the hock  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards walked the track following the race and deemed it suitable for racing. 

Debut Knight, Stellio, Pitate Lee and Silver Arapaho were quick to begin.  Colourful Past was slow to begin. 

Stellio and Alsace collided approaching the first turn, checking Stellio.  Alsace and Destini Ninja collided on the first turn, checking Alsace.  Debut Knight and Colourful Past collided on the home turn.  Debut Knight and Dashing Daph collided in the home straight.  Silver Arapaho raced wide in the home straight.

Guinness Banshee was quick to begin. 

Little Tubbsy and Thurles Princess collided soon after the start.  Brindle Delight and Zoro Bale collided soon after the start.  Unique Quality and Thurles Princess collided on the home turn. 

Black Miss visably eased approaching the winning post.

Black Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury and a right hip injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer Mr J. Buckley, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Black Miss was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr J. Buckley pleaded not guilty to the charge, Black Miss  was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Running The Wind, Weeona Pete and Gamboa were quick to begin. 

Beers On Brody and Weeona Pete collided soon after the start.  Inga Ollie and Why Not Lilah collided approaching the first turn.  Running The Wind and Gamboa collided on the first turn,  Weeona Roger checked off Running The Wind in the home straight. Mr. Bar Wicked and Why Not Lilah collided in the home straight.

Blue Crayon checked off Georgia Pines soon after the start, checking Fried White Bait and Aston Casino.  Weeona Polly and Liverpool Flyer collided approaching the first turn.  

The start of this race was delayed by approximately two minutes, due to the late the arrival of the greyhounds at the boxes. Stewards spoke to the Parade Steward and advsied him to be more diligent when monitoring the time.

Why Not Dan was quick to begin.  Erupting Avatar and Zipping Sheila was slow to begin.
