Steward's Report
Tin Can Sam was slow to begin.
Paper Plane and Jax Flash collided soon after the start. Jax Flash checked off Tin Can Sam on the first turn. Jono's Express galloped on the heels of Bus Driver on the first turn; checking Bus Driver and Joe Baker, and causing Jono's Express to fall. Cadillac Prince galloped on the heels of Nancy Baker approaching the home turn, checking Nancy Baker. Tin Can Sam, Jax Flash and Paper Plane collided on the home turn. Jax Flash and Cadillac Prince collided in the home straight.
Jono's Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
