Indian Calling – New declared weight of 35.7kg last raced at 34.2kg.
Jordanville Jet turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event. Jakey's Day was slow to begin.
Vice Grip and Indian Calling collided approaching the 250m mark.
Stewards delayed the All Clear for this event to view all available footage of the start. After viewing the footage, the All Clear was given as their observations showed that Jordanville Jet had turned in the boxes.
Jordanville Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right and left hind paws. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Thomas Currie, the trainer of Jordanville Jet regarding its performance in this event. Stewards determined that Jordanville Jet had turned in the boxes. Acting in accordance with GAR 52(1), Stewards directed that Jordanville Jet must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
