Steward's Report
Flirty Talks and So Joe Mac collided soon after the start, checking So Joe Mac. Flirty Talks turned its head outwards and marred All's Grand soon after the start checking So Joe Mac and All's Grand. Boes Reward and Lektra Kez collided approaching the 250m mark. Boes Reward crossed to the outside at the 150m mark checking Now And Then, All's Grand and Flirty Talks.
Flirty Talks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Graeme Campbell, the trainer of Flirty Talks regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Flirty Talks was charged with marring. Mr Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Flirty Talks is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Lektra Kez - the winner of the event.
