Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Ouzo Keats crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Tibetan checking Ouzo Keats and Tibetan.  Cold Streak and Busy Izzy collided approaching the 50m mark checking Busy Izzy and Maxi Mal.

Tribe With Five underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

In accordance with LR 22 Mr Bruce Wellington was issued with a warning regarding his non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Flirty Talks and So Joe Mac collided soon after the start, checking So Joe Mac.  Flirty Talks turned its head outwards and marred All's Grand soon after the start checking So Joe Mac and All's Grand.  Boes Reward and Lektra Kez collided approaching the 250m mark.  Boes Reward crossed to the outside at the 150m mark checking Now And Then, All's Grand and Flirty Talks.

Flirty Talks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Graeme Campbell, the trainer of Flirty Talks regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Flirty Talks was charged with marring. Mr Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Flirty Talks is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Lektra Kez - the winner of the event.

Indian Calling – New declared weight of 35.7kg last raced at 34.2kg.

Jordanville Jet turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event.  Jakey's Day was slow to begin.

Vice Grip and Indian Calling collided approaching the 250m mark.

Stewards delayed the All Clear for this event to view all available footage of the start.  After viewing the footage, the All Clear was given as their observations showed that Jordanville Jet had turned in the boxes.

Jordanville Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right and left hind paws. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Thomas Currie, the trainer of Jordanville Jet regarding its performance in this event.  Stewards determined that Jordanville Jet had turned in the boxes.  Acting in accordance with GAR 52(1), Stewards directed that Jordanville Jet must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trubelle was slow to begin.

Spicy Cupcake crossed to the outside approaching the 300m mark and collided with Rock In Rio, checking Spicy Cupcake, Rock In Rio, Oriental Rain, Jazzy Arandt, Midnight Express and Tyler Durden.  Spicy Cupcake and Rock In Rio collided at the 300m mark.  Tyler Durden crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark checking Tyler Durden, Oriental Rain and Jazzy Arandt.

Zipping Atticus was slow to begin.

Hartland Digger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both elbows and a spike wound to the right foreleg paw.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Diesel Herrera was slow to begin.

Swashbuckler and Kraken Smick collided soon after the start.  Baby Pechey and Shady Talks collided approaching the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.  Swashbuckler and Cobber Victorem collided approaching the 200m mark. Baby Pechey crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark and collided with Mt. View Rocks several times.  Swashbuckler and Cobber Victorem collided at the 100m mark.  Diesel Herrera galloped on Shady Talks approaching the 50m mark.  Diesel Herrera and Kraken Smick collided approaching the winning post.  

Weblec Ace and Mr. Changretta collided soon after the start.  Run And Carry and Zipping Sheila collided soon after the start.  Broken Drum and Vivatar collided soon after the start checking Broken Drum, Vivatar and Weblec Jack.  Zipping Sheila and Weblec Jack collided approaching the 250m mark.  Riddles and Broken Drum collided at the 200m mark.  Broken Drum and Weblec Jack collided at the 100m mark.

Cullquin Panda faltered approaching the 250m mark and subsequentially tailed off. Just A Giggle and Weblec Eagle collided approaching the 200m mark.  Weblec Eagle and Just A Giggle collided at the 200m mark checking Just A Giggle.  Just A Giggle galloped on Kireina at the 50m mark checking both greyhounds.

Cullquin Panda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Handsome underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have spike wounds to the front and hind paws. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from She's A Charm.

Ishmy Barry and Zipping Benny were slow to begin.

Dental Plan and Glayva collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark.  She's A Charm raced wide from the 250m mark to the 150m mark.

Dental Plan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Magic Jet - Late scratching at 10:47am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration on the left stifle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Onya Jakit.

Oshkosh Nar and Onya Jakit collided soon after the start.  Cruising By and Oshkosh Nar collided soon after the start.  Break The Plate crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark and collided with Cruising By checking Break The Plate.  Ohana Sparkles crossed to the outside at the 100m mark.

Monkey Mite and Duke Of Burnley collided at the 250m mark.
