Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Cool And Deadly, Saint Rock and Zambezi Icon were quick to begin.

Dusty Victorem and Mepunga Fairy collided soon after the start. Frainy's Well and Indigo Indy collided approaching the first turn. Saint Rock, Zamezi Icon and Mepunga Fairy collided on the first turn checking Saint Rock. Dusty Victorem checked off Mepunga Fairy on the first turn. Cool And Deadly and Zambezi Icon collided entering the back straight checking Zambezi Icon causing Zambezi Icon and Mepunga Fairy to collide. Indigo Indy and Dusty Victorem collided entering the home straight. Mick's Bella and Frainy's Well collided in the back straight. Mick's Bella checked off Frainy's Well entering the home straight causing Mick's Bella and Saint Rock to collide.

Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Just A Fidget and Aranici with trainer Mr J Formosa and noted his comments.

Little Queeny was quick to begin. Mick's Kimmy was slow to begin.

Riverdale Bluey and Just A Fidget collided soon after the start checking Riverdale Bluey. Lachie's Legacy, Just A Fidget, Arancini, Luther and Empire Baz collided on the first turn checking Just A Fidget causing Riverdale Bluey and Just A Fidget to collide checking Mick's Kimmy also checking Luther and Empire Baz severely checking Arancini which fell as a result.

Just A Fidget underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to havea abrasions to both paws and spike wound to right hind. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

 Arancini underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Kratos stumbed soon after the start. Pyrenees Daisy was slow to begin.

Queen Harriet– Late scratching at 8.38am when Trainer Mr J Buckley reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr Buckley was questioned regarding the late scratching, his explanation was noted and confirmed upon receipt of a veterinary certificate.

Maximum Cindy and Winlock Squints were quick to begin. Yondu was slow to begin.

Apache Chaz, Devil's Cartel and Cosmic Brew collided soon after the start.

Sense was quick to begin. Romanova, Brian Harold and Steve's Uggboot were slow to begin.

Sense checked off Honest Keithy on the first turn. Honest Keithy checked off Steve's Uggboot on the first turn. Brian Harold and Umar Allen collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.

Maximum Abbie and Clark Road were slow to begin.

Silver Destroyer and Miss Winks collided soon after the start checking Miss Winks. Magic Lantern and Silver Destroyer collided on the first turn. Glayva and Bomber Creek collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Maximum Abbie galloped on Black Katniss on the first turn. Silver Destroyer checked off Clark Road in the home straight.
