Steward's Report
Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Just A Fidget and Aranici with trainer Mr J Formosa and noted his comments.
Little Queeny was quick to begin. Mick's Kimmy was slow to begin.
Riverdale Bluey and Just A Fidget collided soon after the start checking Riverdale Bluey. Lachie's Legacy, Just A Fidget, Arancini, Luther and Empire Baz collided on the first turn checking Just A Fidget causing Riverdale Bluey and Just A Fidget to collide checking Mick's Kimmy also checking Luther and Empire Baz severely checking Arancini which fell as a result.
A post-race sample was taken from Empire Baz - the winner of the event.
Just A Fidget underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to havea abrasions to both paws and spike wound to right hind. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Arancini underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
