Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Paradiso Jewel was quick to begin. General Rose went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Don't Get Lippy and Shallow collided soon after the start. Shallow galloped on Auspicious Queen soon after the start checking Auspicious Queen. Paradiso Jewel and Mr. Neo collided approaching the first turn. Don't Get Lippy was checked off Shallow on the first turn. Whakahoro and Shall She Shine collided on the first turn checking Shall She Shine. Don't Get Lippy and Shall She Shine collided on the first turn severely checking Shall She Shine. Don't Get Lippy was checked off General Rose approaching the home turn. General Rose was checked off Shallow on the home turn causing Don't Get Lippy to race wide. Mr. Neo and Paradiso Jewel collided several times from the home turn to the winning post causing Mr. Neo to gallop on Paradiso Jewel checking Mr. Neo.

Mr. Neo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right thigh muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ballymac Vicar was slow to begin.  Darnum Dozer and Coughlin's Law collided soon after the start checking Coughlin's Law.  Poppo's Grinning, Skinny La La, Darnum Dozer and Galloping Occy collided approaching the first turn checking Darnum Dozer and Galloping Occy. Skinny La La and Diama Miss collided on the first turn checking Darnum Dozer. Diama Miss and Skinny La La collided several times approaching the winning post.

Diama Miss underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Ms. V. Wisener was reminded of her responsibilities after the greyhound Attitude Plus was negligently placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process (GAR 86(o)).

Stewards spoke to a Kennel Attendant after the greyhound Attitude Plus was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Mighty Matilda and Muza's Gift collided on the first turn checking Muza's Gift, Muza's Gift and Blair Bale collided as a result checking Kiwi Al and What Price Mason, severely checking Muza's Gift. Xalynn Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco-lumbar injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Immersion was slow to begin. Dark Arrow and Be So Good collided soon after the start.  Mahjong Nickel galloped on Parabellum approaching the first turn.  Mahjong Nickel and Boombox Robbie collided on the first turn checking Mahjong Nickel and severely checking Dark Arrow.
