Sarah Smirnoff - Late scratching at 2.54pm when Mr A. Varichione reported the greyhound to have a toe injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Select Pattern went up with the lids and was slow to begin. Bob's Malow and Fairytale Ending colilded approaching the first turn. Bob's Malow and Winlock Homes collided on the first turn. Fairytale Ending and Winlock Homes collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Decker and Hurricane Rose raced wide in the home straight.
