Steward's Report
Camo Rex - Late scratching at 6.30pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Awesome Asset with trainer Mr J. Mangion and noted his comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from Our Harriet.
Aston Verve was slow to begin. Our Harriet, Take A Daisy and Awesome Asset collided soon after the start. Aston Verve, Awesome Asset and Ikora Bale collided on the first turn checking Awesome Asset. Take A Daisy and Our Harriet collided in the home straight.
Awesome Asset underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
