My Gem was quick to begin. Mia's Hand and Stack collided approaching the first turn. My Era Rico and Mia's Hand collided on the first turn checking Mia's Hand. My Era Rico, Stack, Jebrynah Octave and Hello George collided on the first turn checking Stack, Hello George, Bubba Jo and Gellar Bale. Mia's Hand, Stack and Jebrynah Octave collided approaching the home turn checking Stack, causing Stack, Bubba Jo and Gellar Bale to collide severely checking Stack.
Stack underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
