Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Room To Boom underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Flossing and Headspace were quick to begin. Zipping Benson, Aston Clurey and Chops Malone were slow to begin. 

Headspace and Pumpernickel collided soon after the start. Slingshot Reaper, Headspace, Aston Clurey and Chops Malone collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Clurey, Headspace and Zipping Benson. Slingshot Reaper checked off Pumpernickel on the home turn and collided with Chops Malone. Chops Malone and Zipping Benson collided in the home straight. Pumpernickel cramped after the finish line.

Send It Socks turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event. Stirling Lights, Lil Snooze, Smarty Pants and Weblec Diamond collided on the first turn checking Lil Snooze, Smarty Pants and Weblec Diamond. Stirling Lights and Floppy Joe collided on the home turn. 

Send It Socks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 52(1).

Johnny Wishbone was quick to begin.
