Steward's Report

Madalia Pixie and Boes Bounty were slow to begin.

Where's Ali and Boes Bounty collided soon after the start.  Boes Bounty and Poppo's Legacy collided on the first turn checking Poppo's Lagacy and Falcon Heavy.  Falcon Heavy turned its head outwards in the home straight and collided with Casanova Man.  

Where's Ali underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Falcon Heavy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Representative Mr. Keith Hellmuth declined his option to have the greyhound revetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr Keith Hellmuth, the representative for Falcon Heavy regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Falcon Heavy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Hellmuth pleaded guilty to the charge, Falcon Heavy is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Breaside - the winner of the event.
