Steward's Report
This event was rescheduled to race at 10.32pm due to heavy fog. As a result of the fog conditions the lure was driver from the centre of the track for this event.
Fast Food Junkie and Hartland Digger collided approaching the first turn checking Fast Food Junkie. Majestic Mojo checked off Rusty Model on the first turn. Sacred Path contacted the running rail on the first turn. Majestic Mojo and Hartland Digger collided on the first turn checking Majestic Mojo and severely checking Hartland Digger. Majestic Mojo checked off Fast Food Junkie approaching the home turn.
Sacred Path underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Rusty Model underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury and bruising to the right calf and an abrasion to the right hind webbing. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Shakalaka - winner of the event.
