Steward's Report
Vampire Vixen was slow to begin.
Chasin' Bobbi, Kareda Gold and Master Faith collided approaching the first turn checking Kareda Gold and Master Faith. Valletta Mist checked off Burning Express on the first turn. Kareda Gold turned its head outwards and marred Master Faith on the home turn.
Kareda Gold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Formosa, the trainer of Kareda Gold regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Kareda Gold was charged with marring. Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Kareda Gold is suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
