Midnight Pompell and Nancy Baket collided soon after the start. Nitro Georgie, Balt and Side Hustle collided on the first turn checking Balt and Side Hustle. Midnight Pompell and Nancy Baker collided approaching the home turn Murder Nova and Princess Warrior collided several times in the home straight. Side Hustle turned its head inwards and marred  Nitro Georgie approaching the winning post.

Side Hustle underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Thomas Boehmke, the trainer of Side Hustle regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Side Hustle was charged with marring. Mr Boehmke pleaded not guilty to the charge, Side Hustle was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Doughnut- Late scratching at  2.33pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration to the left forearm. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Yondu was vetted following the event. - It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Yondu with trainer Jason Formosa and noted his comments.

Time Twister  and Aston Moscato collided approaching the first turn causing Time Twister to falter and lose considerable ground and  pull up as a result. Gazza's Pick and Riverdale Bear collided on the first turn. Close Encounter and Flash Angel collided in the home straight.

Time Twister  underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to have suffered a fractured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Romanova was slow to begin.

They Love Me crossed to the inside on the first turn checking Tuesday's Grace, Burning Eddy and Resounding. Dundee Blitz and Tuesday's Grace collided in the back straight. Romanova checked off Tuesday's Grace on the home turn Romanova and Tuesday's Grace collided approaching the winning post.

Cosmic Brew, Hooked On You, Stoikos and Zambora Club collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Brew. Smash Flash and Umar Allen collided approaching the first turn. Spinifex Gold checked off Sense on the first turn. Hooked On You and Stoikos collided entering the home straight.

Vampire Vixen was slow to begin.

Chasin' Bobbi, Kareda Gold and Master Faith collided approaching the first turn checking Kareda Gold and Master Faith. Valletta Mist checked off Burning Express on the first turn. Kareda Gold turned its head outwards and marred  Master Faith on the home turn.

Kareda Gold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Formosa, the trainer of Kareda Gold regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Kareda Gold was charged with marring. Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Kareda Gold is suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
