Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Track Curator T. Dempsey advised that the track was graded, top dressed and medium harrowed on 30/6/20.

Dinner Roll – New declared weight of 24.3kg, last raced at 22.7kg.

Mystic Journey, Go Wheels and Run And Carry collided soon after the start.  Mystic Journey, Dinner Roll and Weblec Bloom collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Weblec Bloom checked off Warrior Armo approaching the home turn.  Mystic Journey and Dinner Roll collided on the home turn.  Mystic Journey marred Warrior Armo approaching the winning post. 

Mystic Journey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 3, no apparent injury could be detected. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs D. Robertson, the trainer of Mystic Journey regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Mystic Journey was charged with marring. Mrs D. Robertson pleaded not guilty to the charge, Mystic Journey was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Darwin O'Connor, Leroy Deploy and Voltage Spike were quick to begin. 

My Alby, Sachi Girl, Darwin O'Connor and Wise Tornado collided on the first turn, checking Wise Tornado and Darwin O'Connor who lost ground as a result.  Wise Tornado checked off the heels of Sachi Girl on the home turn.  Darwin O'Connor and My Alby raced wide on the home turn.

Mizuki Rose was quick to begin.  Riverdale Shine and Zipping Reuben were slow to begin.  Destruct was very slow to begin (3L).

Acting under GAR 75 Trainer Mr J Casey advised Stewards  that the greyhound Chill Out Dusty was found to have a right metatarsal fracture and was expected to out of racing for 4 to 6 weeks. 

Uptown Trixie and Neymar Jumior were quick to begin. 

Wise Storm crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Uptown Trixie which lost ground as a result. 

Wise Storm and Neymar Junior raced wide on the home turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Enter The Son - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Black Mustang.

Mighty Max Gone and Black Mustang were quick to begin. Spearhead was slow to begin. 

Selynya Teddy and Spearhead raced wide on the home turn.

Toyman Tim underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind back muscle injury . A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
