Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Running The Wind was slow to begin. Skating Queen and Rock On John collided soon after the start checking Rock On John. Simmo's My Bro and My Father's Son collided soon after the start checking My Father's Son. Love And Rain and Mighty Fabio collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Skating Queen, Rock On John and Mighty Fabio collided on the first turn checking Mighty Fabio, Shrek's Rose, Simmo's My Bro and Ruunning The Wind. Mighty Fabio galloped on Rock On John approaching the second turn and collided with Simmo's My Bro, checking Shrek's Rose and Running The Wind and severely checking Simmo's My Bro which lost considerable ground and subsequently tailed off; Mighty Fabio fell as a result. Love And Rain crossed out in the back straight causing Rock On John to gallop on Love And Rain. Love And Rain, Rock On John and Skating Queen collided on the third turn checking My Father's Son and Skating Queen. My Father's Son checked off Skating Queen in the home straight. Love And Rain and Skating Queen collided approaching the winning post. 

Mighty Fabio underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration on the left hind leg and a spike wound on the right wrist. No stand down period was imposed. 

Simmo's My Bro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hock, right hind toe and right fore toe. No stand down period was imposed. 

Skating Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Liam Sharp, the representative for Skating Queen regarding its performance in the back straight and in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Skating Queen must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Galloping Occy was quick to begin. Galaxy Queen and Fine Tactics collided approaching the first turn checking Rock In Rio. Serengeti Icon and Aston Victory collided on the first turn severely checking Serengeti Icon and Rock In Rio. Galaxy Queen, Fine Tactics and Aston Kipchoge collided on the first turn checking Mac's A Million, Aston Kipchoge, Fine Tactics and Aston Victory. Aston Kipchoge and Aston Victory collided on the second turn. Rock In Rio checked off Fine Tactics on the fourth turn. Galaxy Queen and Aston Kipchoge collided on the home turn.

Farmor Watches was quick to begin. Jayla Strike and Lawson Drive collided soon after the start and again on the first turn. Jayla Strike and Tinsel Doll collided on the second turn. Flying Lucky checked off Finniss Vision and collided with Bush Martini on the third turn. 

Talking Numbers and Chillout Chuckie were slow to begin. Wake Up and Sensory collided soon after the start. Talking Numbers checked off Grime Time Zeus on the first turn and collided with Wake Up and Dundee Jazz; Chillout Chuckie was checked, Talking Numbers and Dundee Jazz raced wide as a result. Wake Up clipped the heels of Talking Numbers entering the front straight and collided with Dundee Jazz, checking Wake Up and Dundee Jazz. Talking Numbers, Wake Up and Dundee Jazz collided on the second turn. Dundee Jazz crossed to the rails on the second turn checking Wake Up and Chillout Chuckie.

Jay Bird was quick to begin. Yindi Girl Turbo, Winlock Thor and Shadows No More collided soon after the start. Zipping Hunter checked off Winlock Thor on the first turn. Shadows No More and Monkey Wrench collided several times from the first turn to the second turn checking both greyhounds; Shadows No More raced wide as a result. Jay Bird and Don't Argue Love collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn. Yindi Girl Turbo, Don't Argue Love and Jay Bird collided on the third turn checking Jay Bird, Yindi Girl Turbo, Winlock Thor and Monkey Wrench and severely checking Don't Argue Love. Jay Bird and Yindi Girl Turbo collided approaching the home turn. Monkey Wrench checked off Winlock Thor approaching the home turn.

Waging War was slow to begin. Speedy Bella and Silver Smarty collided soon after the start. Shima Rock, Speedy Bella and Silver Smarty collided soon after the start severely checking Speedy Bella. Shima Rock checked off Silver Smarty on the first turn. Waging War checked off Larrakeyah Lady on the first turn. Shima Rock crossed out on the second turn and collided with Waging War. Snake Pit Lass and Come On Eleanor collided approaching the first turn. Ayo Joy, Snake Pit Lass and Come On Eleanor collided on the first turn checking Snake Pit Lass, Rajasthan, Zipping Truvy, Weblec Jack and Sarcasmic. Snake Pit Lass and Rajasthan collided entering the front straight and again in the front straight. Snake Pit Lass checked off Sarcasmic on the second turn severely checking Snake Pit Lass and Rajasthan. Weblec Jack crossed to the rails on the second turn checking Come On Eleanor. Zipping Truvy and Sarcasmic collided approaching the third turn.

Lee Ali was slow to begin. Mepunga Missile and Jamo collided soon after the start. Swift Intention and Aston Turbine collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Shots Fired clipped the heels of Do A Runner approaching the second turn checking Swift Intention. Mepunga Missile and Shots Fired collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Swift Intention contacted the running rail on the third turn and lost ground checking Do A Runner and Lee Ali.

Screen Shot and New Punchline were quick to begin. Romanova went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Romanova brushed the running rail on the first turn and tired over the concluding stages of the event. 

Sprint Gordon was slow to begin. Nothin' To Lose and Stretch Butler collided approaching the first turn checking Nothin' To Lose. Stretch Butler, Handsome and Aston Gwen collided approaching the second turn checking all three greyhounds. Nothin' To Lose and Sprint Gordon collided approaching the second turn checking Nothin' To Lose; Nothin' To Lose collided with Stretch Butler as a result checking Stretch Butler. 

La Bamba Icon was slow to begin. Twisted Reality and Capture Bart collided soon after the start. Sanjiro and Shadow Mist collided approaching the first turn. Shadown Mist checked off La Bamba Icon entering the back straight. Sanjiro and Shadow Mist collided on the third turn checking Sanjiro. Twisted Reality checked off One Night Only on the third turn. Twisted Reality checked off Capture Bart on the home turn.
