Magic Voyage and Dr. Gretchen collided soon after the start checking Magic Voyage. Dr. Cassia and Mac's Secret collided soon after the start. Dr. Gretchen, Mac's Secret and She Wiggles collided on the first turn checking Mac's Secret and severely checking Dr. Gretchen who lost considerable ground; Magic Voyage, Dr. Cassia and Madalia Daisy were checked as a result. Magic Voyage checked off Jackson's Creek approaching the home turn. Dr. Cassia raced wide on the home turn.

What Price Mason and Up The Ante collided on the first turn. Parumba Barcia checked off Big Coin Buddy approaching the home turn. Parumba Barcia and Madalia Brodie collided on the home turn.

Loaded, As Only Is and Valletta Sky collided approaching the home turn checking Valletta Sky. As Only Is stumbled on the home turn.

Shanlyn Spot and Akina Archer collided approaching the first turn. Shanlyn Spot crossed to the outside on the first turn and raced wide checking Akina Archer; Shanlyn Spot raced wide for the remainder of the event, All Hollywood and Speed Demon collided on the first turn checking Speed Demon and Rapid Response. Rapid Response checked off All Hollywood on the home turn.

Alon, What's Up Skip and Tibby Shore collided approaching the first turn checking What's Up Skip. Carter Senor crossed in on the first turn and collided with Take A Rose, checking Carter Senor, Tibby Shore and Shady Tex and severely checking Alon and Tezzalenko; both greyhounds lost considerable ground and Tezzalenko contacted the rail as a result.

King Spolly, My Way and Dundee Jazz collided approaching the first turn checking My Way. Masamune checked off Willow Rose on the first turn. King Spolly and Dundee Jazz collided on the first turn checking Dundee Jazz. Zipping Queen checked off King Spolly on the home turn and collided with Dundee Jazz. Bomber's Queen and Willow Rose collided several times in the home straight.
