Sassy Keats checked off Perfect Jewel soon after the start.  Big Bash Punter, Perfect Jewel and Super Athletic collided at the 150m mark.  Super Athletic crossed to the inside at the 100m mark checking Super Athletic and Big Bash Punter.  Stewards noted that Making Gravy's muzzle became dislodged during the event.  

Iron Pony, Run To You and Corona Cold was slow to begin.

Star Ballerina and Corona Cold collided at the 300m mark checking Corona Cold.  Awesome Arby and Chiocci collided at the 250m mark checking Chiocci.  Run To You and Corona Cold collided at the 200m mark checking Run To You.  Corona Cold and Star Ballerina collided at the 100m mark.

Run To You underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg quadriceps injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Eagle Jet - the winner of the event.

Brutal and Harston Flare were slow to begin.

Aquileia and Harston Flare collided soon after the start.  Harston Flare, Aquileia and Fernando Toy collided soon after the start checking Fernando Toy.  Wild Bandit and Urana Mustang collided at the 200m mark.  Harston Flare, Urana Mustang and Wild Bandit collided at the 150m mark checking Urana Mustang, Wild Bandit and Fernando Toy.  Brutal and La La Lucky collided approaching the winning post.  

Brutal underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Darley Park.

Urana Duke and Poppo's Darling collided soon after the start.  Razor Roy and Hello Goodnight collided soon after the start.  Poppo's Darling and Nowhere Nathe collided at the 300m mark.  Urana Duke, Lethal Image and Scraping Paint collided at the 250m mark checking Urana Duke and Lethal Image causing both greyhounds to fall as a result; Razor Roy was inconvenienced by the falling greyhounds.  Scraping Paint crossed to the inside and Darley Park crossed to the outside approaching the winning post.

Razor Roy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Urana Duke underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hindleg paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Lethal Image underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both monkey muscles and shin soreness to the left foreleg. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Gotta Exceed was a late scratching at 9.38am by Order Of Stewards. No Penalty was imposed. 

Mr Garry Condon failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Tinker Chuck for racing.  Mr Condon was given a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Lucky Paws and Dusty Allegro were slow to begin.

Mr. Mufasa and Sand Runner collided at the 300m mark checking Sand Runner.  Sand Runner checked off Mr. Mufasa at the 250m mark checking Tinker Chuck and I'm Orion.  I'm Orion and Sand Runner collided several times from the 200m mark to the winning post checking both greyhounds.  

Atarah was slow to begin.

Flash Paws faltered soon after the start and tailed off.  Okay Kirsty and Megapascal collided at the 100m mark.  

Flash Paws underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right back muscle and right hamstrings. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Erolo Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind paw.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Erolo Bale - the winner of the event.

Runnin' Rampage - Late scratching at 12:47pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness - vomiting. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Alfie's Affair and Emerley Express collided soon after the start checking Emerley Express causing the greyhound to stumble.  Totally Know, Flaming Fabio and Tinker Buzz collided approaching the 250m mark checking Flaming Fabio and Tinker Buzz.

Emerley Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury and diarrhoea was reported post race. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tinker Buzz underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported. 

Mepunga Billy, Reggae Mikado and Mumma's Bear collided soon after the start.  What's Up Skip checked off Tigga Toy at the 250m mark.  High Tale and North Wind collided at the 250m mark.  Tigga Toy and Sparkle Motion collided at the 100m mark.

Rio Hustler and Banjo Plato were slow to begin.

Adori and Yeran collided at the 300m mark checking Adori and Yeran, severely checking Banjo Plato.  

Pizza Shop and Especial One collided soon after the start.  Beers On Brody, Negan and Elite Paws collided at the 250m mark.  Beers On Brody and Negan collided at the 150m mark and again approaching the winning post.
